30 Seconds

After aliens abduct a young man who has a pack of Twisties, his matter is transported aboard a giant spacecraft by a probe. The probe is entirely created in 3D. The spacecraft is a composite of multiple layers of live action footage.

A close up of the probe containing the young man and his Twisties.
After he is presented within the craft, aliens appear to inspect their catch.
This image is a combination of filmed set, and a matching scale model for set extension, 3D probe, composited imagery of the young man, and 3D Twisties packet and Twisties match moved to the rotation of the young man.
The 3D Probe in close up, turning and revealing one of the aliens.
A 'point of view' shot from the young man's perspective.
3D probe, composited young man, 3D packet and Twisties match moved to the rotation of the young man.
This shot features some 3D set additions, in that the iris like doors at the end of the tunnel are created in 3D, due to the complexity of their operation.
A further set extension shot that establishes the vast scale of the spacecraft.
Remote controller used by the aliens to access the probe has the same iris doors created in 3D and matched to the footage.

The 3D elements created in Softimage|3D were the probe, the Twisties, both the plastic foil packet, and the actual food and the "Iris doors".
