Powerball Meteor is an all computer animated TVC created at Fire Horse Studio. The entire TVC was pre-visualised, and client feedback and approval given to that stage of the production. Running in tandem, the team of animators at Fire Horse developed methods for utilising new 3D sculpting technology. The new modelling technique allowed the precise detailing of the 396 pieces of crust that form the outer layer of the meteor.

Multiple versions of the jackpot amount were created during the same production schedule allowing the NSW Lotteries to run the required TVC as they are required due to the prize jackpot amount increasing.
